Securing the Pneumatic Operating Field
The #1 Device to maintain insufflation for procedures that require a secure pneumatic operative field.
The Challenge
During endoscopic and robotic interventions, it is critical to maintain stable insufflation and visualization of the operative field. However, patients may unconsciously release stool or air causing a decompression of the endoscopic field.
This can lead to:
- Obscured visualization.
- Compromised safety of the intervention.
- Prolongation of the procedure and necessary anesthesia time.
- Potential frustration for the performing physician.
Our Solution
SPOF device effectively secures the operative field, helping resolve and minimize challenges related to insufflation and visualization in a safe, practical, and affordable manner. It is designed for on-demand use within seconds and has been successfully tested in cadaver labs.
Additional Benefits:
- Enhance detection of smaller lesions.
- Reduce possibility of contamination and exposure risks for patients and personnel.
- Operate with greater cost efficiency.
